    Default carb mounting configuration

i have a set of holley 660 cent sqrt. going to mount them in line (bowl to bowl) i always se them mounted with the linkage on the left..can i mount them them 180 degrees so the linkage is on the right. it would simplify my cable mount.

Keep in mind, if they were push they'll now be pull (or vice versa) so you'll have to deal with your pedal/cable. Other than that you should be fine.

that is why im asking because my cable comes around from the back and it pushes and that is what the carbs do

The 660s I have use a extended plate that comes down below to make it a "pusher" on the left side from the rear. There is a link to the other carb so they both pull together......JFYI

Most carbs have the ability for the cable to mount to either the top or the bottom of the throttle plate, so push or pull shouldn't be an issue.
