    Default Berkeley Linkage

Could somebody show a pic on how to correctly install the steering linkage to the jet. As far as Shoulder bolt? Spacer? What?

The cleanest way imo is the steering swivel that the finer jetboat shops, and marine suppliers carry.

Craig the original installs (without trim) simply used a stainless 3/8 fine thread bolt which passed thru the tiller arm and used a lock nut on the bottom, should also be two thin stainless washers on top and bottom of the steering arm Its critical that the steer tube bushing (around the steer tube) in the transom adaptor is "live" and not over tightened for proper alignment

mine uses a heim joint that is drilled out to except the end on the steering cable and bolted to the cable and the tiller arm when i put on my aggressor bowl and droop i needed an extension so i cut an extension shorter and turned it down to the same od as the cable and put the heim on the end of it instead i think it works excelent! just my .02
