    Default Drive lines

What are the drive lines rated to? I have a 1310 i have been running with 800 hp and plan on hitting the silly spray and will put me over the 1000 hp level. Is this ok or should I upgrade to the 1350.

If have this right, the 1310 is the smaller than the 1350?

stop by OC drivelines (right next to sweet performance). those guys will take care of ya. I have them inspect mine before every season. Dont remember which one i have but they built several drivelines for me and are very good about checking them out.

How are they on price compared to Rex or other marine shops? $300-$350 on those sites for the 1350..... I was thinking of upgrading from the 1310 to the 1350 due to the extra ponies this season. Think I should?

If I'm not mistaken Sam, you'll have to move your motor forward an couple inches if you make the change. I believe the 1350 is longer. When putting my GW together I thought about using one. Decided not to because of the extra length.

I'd already moved forward 7 1/4" for the jetaway and didn't want the motor in the back seat.

Was also borderline on the HP rating thing with about 600-650 hp.

Yeah saw that this morning Dan. Might as well do it, why try to cheap out and save $$$ at this point right? What a joke.

And I will measure what is in the boat now Dan. I have a little room to play with on the jetaway so hopefully it doesnt need to move, it is pretty far forward already.

I just had a driveline/yoke change on my daughter's Crusader jet. The driveline shop here said it's not a 1310 or 1350. It's an industrial that's larger an stronger one. This one you can spot because it doesn't need a pto. It bolts directly to flywheel or flex plate. Shop says these are stronger. Just for info. Pat

Sounds like an industrial Rockwell drive-line to me. Obsolete item.

1350 is about 3/4" longer than the 1310
I may be growing older, but I refuse to grow up!

I upgraded mine from a 1310 to 1350 after some issues in my old boat.

Thanks for clearing that up. I knew it was longer, couldn't remember how much. All I remember thinking is..........if this motor goes any farther forward, I can use the valve cover for an arm rest.
