Default Black box mystery and IMCO fuel switch

    Hello all,
Got a new project....an Ultra Jet boat, came with no motor.
Can anyone tell me what this black box to the left of the IMCO fuel switch is? It has two orange and green leads going down by each exhaust manifold they were cut there. Its a mystery to me!
Also the fuel valve looks to be for a fuel injected motor with return lines, I can vent the extra center return line away from the engine compartment, outside the boat is that ok? It also does not switch when I flip the dash fuel switch, and does not move manually, IMCO's web site didn't tell me much either. I would like to fix it and keep it if possible, it is worth fixing? They are sure expensive new.
Anybody using one of these or repaired one?
Rebuilding the pump also, an A/T Dominator 12S, A impeller, bad top bearing a little ridge in the wear ring...easy deal. .
    Thanks for the help!!

Don't know what the black box is. However, I might be interested in the "broken" switch. The one I have doesn't support the return lines and I wish it did.

the black box looks like a hatch actuator relay,
not much inside the IMCO fuel valve. the connections
are labeled, Not sure what you mean by cant move it manually,
are you removing the pin first when you try to move it manually?

Thanks outlaw, I'll bet you are right about the black box being a hatch actuator relay, the lifts were missing also along with the motor, battery boxes, motor mounts, it was a repo everything else was gone.
I will check the wiring to the lift switch as I ordered a new lift from dana Marine, along with other stuff.....
So does the pin actually come out of the fuel switch? I have tried pushing and pulling on it. Then sliding the switch, it doesn't budge.
I will try to pull the pin out completely.
    Thanks a bunch!
