    Default polishing aluminum woes

I cannot seem to get an off-white film to polish out of my aluminum, am I doing something wrong? From what ive done in the past, there has been no problem, but I have recently installed more lighting and can see much better, I believe the white film has always been there!
Ive tried all sorts of different polishes, Gelcoat is not a problem to shine up, but this aluminum crap is definitely my kryptonite!
Micro fibers seem to do more scratching than anything too.
    any ideas are appreciated

Todd have you tried the "Buff Magic" on aluminum? Thats what I've been using for a little while now.

Todd, I polished my stuff and had Embee clear it. Gotta be careful not to scratch the clear but its worth it, I HATE polishing.....
