Most everything I own is insure through State Farm. So I get it at a fair price. With a 12k replacement value and a million in liability it runs me $35 a month

It is funny. The only thing my agent ask when I put another boat on is horse power and if it has a fire extinguisher. Dont care what hull or drive type.

Is that your boat in you avatar? Looks like O.T. headers. If your boat has thru transom exhaust with an enclosed engine and is not a tunnel hull, you can pretty much get it anywhere. Seems like no one wants to insure tunnels except the specialty companies like PBI. Horsepower is another big issue. If you've taken a USCG course, you'll get a discount for that. I use Progressive. Very reasonable.

I've used AAA since 1969 for my boats. I presently have a 20 ft Dana with jet and stock 454. The prices were always fair. For a while I changed my cars to 20th Century and still kept AAA. I have never had to make a claim on my boats, but assume I would get as good service as I have on cars and motorhomes. I'd give them a call to see what they can do.
