    Default Memories of Blue Water

I thought this would be fun to start, I have few to share. First off, my dad raced a Texas Tunnel #632 along with Don Spillman's Texas Tunnel #638 and Les Antonucci's Wilder Craft #631 BGJ. Anyways I was just a kid back then pulling toy model hydro's with a string up and down the shore between the circle towers. Hope some of you have some fun memories also.

You and me both, always had allot of fun walking the boats back though.
WilderCarft #476 La Puta Negra was the one my dad drove a few times and built the engines for. BW would be a bitchin race today, if I remember correctly it had something to do with losing the lease to the Indians. Who knows I was only 8

There is no way you could run a race at bluewater because of the speed todays boats are running. There is the "hole" if any of you remember at about 3/4 track. Maybe a 1000 ft course. And only give about a ten ft approach at the start beams, that would knock a bunch of speed off.

This hole you speak of...what exactly is it?

Amongst the circle racers....some have talked about a 'hole' just outside of turn 1 at the BW (right at the end of the north end of the beach)....and you do see more boats spin out in that corner then any other portion of the track. i've spun out there....ralph spun out and sank there...seen many PS/SS/K's spin out in this corner as well.

is it just a deeper spot where the river bed drops down and with the current it creates uneven water?
