    Default Motor mount problem...21' shadow.

    Hi all,
Got an 2003 21' Ultra Shadow deck boat.
It was a repo through a freind, needs some work but is is just what I needed. It has a 12S Dominator pump (I just rebuilt it) and I am installing a mild 454 BBC.
Any one know which front motor mount to use on this boat??
I got no motor or mounts with this boat at all.
The stringers are 29-30" apart inside to inside.
I am using a 3 pt mount kit, not a rail kit. I have the bellhousing and front mounts from JBP but my stringers are too wide for these front mounts and they don't have much height adjustment. I need something better and wider....I was thinking of a small 6" rail and merc mount pads.
Looking at the photo it may have had a short rail in it or?
I will call Ultra or GS Marine next week as they still make this boat. See what they have. So much for getting the motor in this weekend...
Thanks to Tom for getting the mounts here anyways....
Seems like these stringers are wider than most @29-30"
Oh ya I cleaned up the engine compartment it looks white now!
It's gonna be a nice one when I am done....
    Any ideas??
    Thanks clarkph

I have an Ultra Shadow and the stringers are further apart than most. I think mine are about 29 3/4 inches apart. Anyway, i have a set of rails, pillow blocks and front motor plates that I'm not using anymore. They'll probably work in your boat. I'll be at my shop tomorrow and you're welcome to come by and see if they'll work for ya. PM and I'll give you directions.

Time to make your own rail kit if you have the tools or get a custom make one from Jan at lightning.

Thanks for the offer cyclone, pm sent. I will come by if your close enough..
I appreciate the info about lightening widowmaker, I will check them out too...
    TRG...wtf?
I will post pics when I get it cleaned up, Ultra still has a picture of this one on their web site. Under 21 Shadow deck galleries.
white base, purple rear with minor gray tribal flamesdown the side.
It was very nice when new, I couldn't afford it then, someone couldn't afford it either anymore!
All I need to do is solve the mount problem and it's back on the water in a week or so..rebuilt the pump myself, new trim pump hoses, shift cable, battery wiring, switch and billet mounts, new killer stereo, cleaned up the interior and wiring.
    Thanks!
