LOL. Yep. It leaned out and burned a hole in two pistons. It built up enough pressure in the crank case it blew the oil plug out. Real bummer. It was only his 2nd time out in that boat.

I'm sure Karma is going to get me back for posting those pics.

I sneaked down to lake Lavon a couple of yrs ago and showed up unanounced I believe it was on wednesday evenings is when the hotboat crowd gathered there. Anyway, nobody wanted to race and they all kept telling me "you just wait till or outboard hero shows up, he'll spank the hell out of ya".
He showed up and got schooled.

Awesome! Who's orange boat? I need some hood ornaments like that for mine since it doesn't run it can just sit there and look pretty (which i guess it will be doing for a while?). I don't think it was so much the crankcase pressure as the person putting the engine back in the boat not checking to make sure it was tight

At least it looks good since it dont run lol

You think it takes a lot of $$$$/maintenance to keep your boat happy. You should try to maintain one of those ornaments.

Shoot the boat is cheap in comparison! I saw the new car the other night not to mention the one before it.
