There are a ton of trails to ride out there. We run polaris and rhino's all winter. There are a bunch of mines there too. You should have fun. The water is warming up too. Have fun.

We ride Picacho on the Cali side of the river. Lots of great trails (Valley of the Names, The Narrows, The Waterfalls, The Railroad Tracks). There's also a campground at Picacho with a launch ramp. We don't launch from there sinces its 15 miles of dirt road to get there and the ramp is right on the river (no protection from currents). But still very cool area to explore. Let me know if you need more info on Picacho. Got a cool site that has downloadable Garmin tracks.

Has rock, sand and hard pack. Theres a bitchn jeep trail that runs from the power tower to hidden shores. Theres some soft at the beggining as well deep inside. Steep cliffs, jumps and great views. I would say about a 9 for trail riding. Bring some snacks/water.

Check the weather! i was out there sat. and it was in the mid 90's already. A little too hot for me to be wearing riding gear!

Done it a few times to. The mud flat or hills out from Pruiet City (sp) and fun, been to Hidden shores from Fishers a couple of time and once 3 of us rode from Fishers to Palo Verde and back...... not recommended to most.

Fun riding but watch the heat as mentioned.

Thanks for all the info! Going to boat, but thought it would be insane to start each day with a 2 hour ride as the sun comes up. Fired up, first trip of the year and trying to fit it all in!

    Thanks Guys,
    DB

If he is hanging with the 509 crew, he will have PLENTY of time to ride before hitting the water.

It will give me an excuse to be in bed by midnight! I figured the riding would slow the party down since I will be there for 4 days!
