    Default rudder

    so i just bought my first jet boat and the rudder is ground down to about an inch, is it worth putting a new one on, does it make much difference

    Post pictures of the wife or girlfriend pointing to the rudder. There are a lot of considerations here.

    My boat had no rudder on it when I got it.
    Besides being unable to keep it in a straight line in the 5mph zone, it had a real tendency to spin out.
    I put the rudder on, and IMO the difference was night vs day.
    Much better experience to say the least.
    I will never take it off.

    My ole Jet-O-Vater had a large rudder >it was great!
    My current Place Diverter does not >I certainly notice the difference.
    Low speed docking the rudder wasen't very useful >however > once up on plane they do wonders, especially with my 21' Daytona.
