    Is it necessary to use gasket(s) when fitting a wedge between a droop and the bowl??

    Plastic wedge-no, aluminum wedge-yes

    Is the nylon wedges concider to be the plastic ones

    I don't know if the black plastic wedges are nylon, or not. The Black wedges have circular groves and seal up nice.
