    Default Got my motor today!

Got my 454 today from Cali! Super stoked to install it! I am cleaning it up and I took the intake off and two of the ports are badly rusted! Would that be from the water? Should I clean the out run so anti rust product threw them? I will post a pic! Thanks guys

Man I really hope that's not the case it looks like the ports where the cooling water would run through! I don't know if I should pull the heads or not I know the engine runs unreal cause I've seen it run !

It should be fine. It never rains in CA. Unless you got the motor from the OTHER California...Northern. COngrats on the new motor. I hope everything works out for you.

If it's rusted where the water runs through I wouldn't sweat it.
