I'll start it off. Two of the most important things. One from each category.

    Do.................have fun.
Don't.............forget to put the drain plugs in before launching.

Not necessarily listed in order of importance or priority.

Keep pump loaded during turns, unloaded pump, no steering.

Avoid water grass, ski ropes etc.

Avoid shallow water WOT take offs, sucking rocks into the jet unit will bend or break the thingy magingy that makes it go.

Never open the hand hole cover while the boat is in the water.

Don't drink and drive, alcohol and Jet Boats do not mix.

Be nice to your wife, when it is time to upgrade stuff, remind her how nice you were to her.

    Be safe.

haha def heard that one a few times myself.

I'll throw this one in there, learned it my first time out. Dont start your boat with the gate open, diverter up, 15 feet from your buddies bow rider...it WILL soak everyone on board

Don't start your boat when you are getting pulled up the ramp. You will fry your pump.
