No. It's River Dave's place, too many pages, and what little I read smells like spam.

    Hey Benadict Arnold
Have you actually read this thread on river daves, I feel sorry for those Colorado boys dont You

So you dont get confussed Blue Berry here it is Straight from the 509 Crew

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ron will no longer be building the new "509" race boat.

I went to pick the boat up yesterday and it was the worst layed up boat I have ever seen! The boat has serious lamination problems that I am sure Ron will "try" to fix and sell to someone that does not know what they are looking at. This boat has sagging tunnels that could be from a bad mold or sub standard materials(Ron couldn't tell me what caused this because he doesn’t know) This boat was going to be in the mold for an extended amount of time yet is was popped early without Ron knowing, pretty good Quality Control if you ask me. The whole experience has been the worst thing I have dealt with since crashing my boat at Ming in March. If anyone wants to go fast and is considering having one of these hulls layed up please think twice, Ron offered to build another one for me but I declined. Against my better judgment I went with Ron over GS and Mike D. What a mistake! I was lucky to walk away from a very bad crash in march and Mike and GS offered me the same deal on a proven boat. Boy do I feel dumb now! I guess that old saying is true " You get what you pay for" Now I am in a very bad situation as I got 2 of my friends to buy boats from Ron and am very concerned for their safety.

If anyone wants to know some specific problems feel free to contact me

FYI, I went to GS Marine right after leaving Ron's, so called "shop".

Well if not buying from Ron -

I'm pretty sure the Drama Queen guy Jimmie that was the race director at Purcell has taken over the Cheyenne. Ervin still builds it but as far as I know Jimmie owns the mold and the dealership.
