Default New Jet Boat. Need help identifying it

So I bought what was going to be a parts boat for some of our other jets, Jolly Roger, Sleekcraft, CVX, and a Tahiti (aslo parts boat) but I like the looks of the hull on this one so now I think I'm going to keep it, plus it has a decent pump with a place diverter on it. Anywho, its missing the ID plate and AZ wont release the info to me (last registered 10 years ago)

Here is a link to all the pictures I took of it. I'm thinking sleekcraft, my dad thinks Tahiti. Any thoughts?

    Default Looks like.....

With the exception of the side tanks, it looks like my 69 Tahiti, all the way down to the rub rail design.......Ray

I would agree. Not a Sleek, for sure. Is there a HIN number on the transom?

I dont think its either, Deck to long for a tahiti plus no splash lip like the 73 I had. it has sleek graphics but its a redue. It resembles an old Challenger in my opinion. Check under the dash for another I.D. tag.

    Is this the same boat?

    http://forums.screamandfly.com/forum...d.php?t=207146

I said it in the other thread. That looks exactly like my 74 SleekCraft Rebel. That even looks like the bottom half of the SleekCraft engine cover.

Why I think it is a Rebel:

in this pic you can see the hump in the vertical and recess in the horizontal edge of the deck as well as the engine cover.

you can barely see where the engine cover splits in this bad scan from a SleekCraft brochure I have

Shape of the curve on the bottom of the dash (Is there a name cast into that gas pedal)

    Shape of the deck

if it's not a rebel, It's almost certainly a splash of one.

That boat looks like my '73 Pioneer. My boat was gutted when I bought it so I am only looking at the shape of the hull.

    @ Last Mohican

you put in quiet some work into that post! Thanks for the info and suggestions on where to look for more ID tags. I cant remember what the peddle says on it. I will have to look later this week when I go back to the lake. Also, I couldnt see those pictures in the link you gave me but I bet that is the same guy. He told me it was his 1st jet boat and that he had traded a CJ jeep for it. Thats the same pump/motor combo, even though thats a fairly common combo.

Hopefully when I register it the GA DNR will be able to get the info from AZ

I already had all those pics. I had looked that boat over when the previous owner posted it over at S&F. It was really no work at all.

Here is a pic from the previous owners post over at S&F. Gotta be the same boat. He was from TN I believe. He posted one time and never came back.

It looks alot like my hull. The Manufacturer's tag says Arizona Ski Boats and the hull ID starts with ASK. Mine is a 78' model and is pretty much a heavier, lake version of a Biesmeyer.
