Default ...Video...Just An Average Sunday At Jim Brock's Boat Shop...

...Several of the boys from the "Pacoima Yacht Club",...Jim, Phillip, Steve & Jerry are getting their boats ready for their annual "Lake Buena Vista",..."Memorial Weekend Romp"... ...In years past it may have been refered to as the "Memorial Weekend Fiasco"???...

...Usually there is a Doctor in attendance but I'm not sure if Doctor Don still goes???... ...The LAPD is well represented,...as Detective Joe is always there... ...The Doc was always there to treat Sunburn cases and the many libation aided slip and fall accidents... ...Detective Joe's job is to remind everyone the following week, of what they did over the weekend,...that is if he can remember???...

...During my several hours at the shop,...probably the only utterances of truth, came from "Dingo The Puppy Dog"...

...As far as I know there have never been any complaints...It might be because there is a small aircraft,...24 hour airport a few hundred yards down the road...

...Apparantly there has been at least one major noise issue... ...Jim told me a story the other day about bringing a boat that had sunk,...to the shop at around 8 oclock one night... ...I'm assuming he changed the oil and started the boat to run it before changing the oil again...

...Either before he started it or just after,...a guy appeared from the trailer park with a gun in his hand... ...Jim feeling his life in danger either wisely or unwisely went back in the shop and got his gun...

...Ok,...now we have a standoff... ...All of a sudden two more guns appear over the fence... ...The guy says to Jim,..."Now what are you going to do"... ...So I asked Jim,...What did you do???... ...His reply,......."Well,...I didn't start the boat"... ...True story...

Is that reversion exhaust all over the top of the carburetor on the little brown boat next to the blue one??? Or is there something black on top of the carb??? If it's reversion, it's time to get rid of those logs.

...I don't think that was the carburator run previosly on the brown boat...I believe it is a loaner from Jerry,...the guy with the blue boat... ...The little brown boat tows in the big boys when they break...
