    Actually, it quite simple.

I would contact Berkely direct for info or JBP. I have taken apart a few and learned the hard way the wrongs and the rights. Wrongs cost and proper info is cheap!

    Seen it done.
With the right tools(special huge socket, special puller, etc) it takes minutes.
Without the right tools, well...it won't happen.

lol...If i take the nozzle on the back off, then there is a bolt that has a flat-head top on it. Do i have to remove that in order to get the bowl off/?

also on top of the bowl are two screws, to grease or lube the bearings, do i just put 90wt gear oil in there?

    Thanks

No, there should be your bushing oil behind that. What exactly are ya try'n to do? Just check it out, reseal, ??. You have to take the 8 5/8 headed bolts off from the suction housing on the inside of the boat to get the bowl off. The suction housing is what house's (lol) the impeller, shaft, thrust bearing, rope seal, ect. There's pretty much 4 peices to a pump. From inside to outside the boat it goes intake, suction housing, bowl, nozzle.
