    Default Engine RPM'S ??????

I have an 18' Kona with a chevy 350, Jacuzzi pump with diverter. 202 heads, 501 lift 292 duration cam, tunnel ram intake with dual 600 edelbrock carbs. Running 93 gas. Timing is at 34 @ 3000. It will only turn around 4300 - 4500 rpms. Shouldn't I get more from it? Am I missing something? I am thinking about going with a single 750 holley. Thanks,Tim

i have not become anywhere close to knowledgeable on this yet but you have a low torque engine turning a pump. depending on what impellor you have is going to determine the load on the engine. i have a 396 with a big cam and TR and dual 660's on a jacuzzi and i am spinning at just over 5k

1200cfm of carb on a 350? hell he might pick up a few hundred rpms goin to a nice single 650-750 dp over the duals, gotta be runnin alil fat up top with that much carb

Dare to be different, if it turns out great you can claim you planned it that way.

My 350 had a 850 DP on it. I cut it back to a 750 DP and im pushing 5300 RPMs at around 65 MPH on a B cut Allum impeller .

Dont know if that helps but thats what i got.

Cam looks alittle to big for the RPM range.
