    Default i am a d bag.

I was trying to manuver near the launch. Some dude in a seadoo jet boat decided directly behind me was a good place to hang out. I blipped the throttle and as ot turns out the jet was all the way up and he got a shot of the jet right in the mouth.

I tried to apologize but i know he was pissed. It was really hard not to laugh. I feel realy bad

Isn't parking behind a boat with the motor running sort a like standing behind a fat girl?

Or me after a late night run to del taco. Ive wanted to do that to people before just couldnt get myself to do it on purpose. I love it when a lice is just floating or doing circles about 30' away from the launch ramp waiting for the person that just launched him.

It seems as those who ride pwc tend to be 'less than competent ' A couple weeks ago i was still hooked to the trailer warming the motor up and some goof drove right into me...I didn't even need to flip him any guff..half a dozen people on the ramp took care of that..as for the damage..this is my first boat...and when i painted it my priority's were to make it bright and easy to repair..i am just glade dude didn't get hurt..

Dont feel bad, he shouldn't have been there. I was near the launch ramp one time and my friend pushed me out from the shore. I was trying to start the engine as I was floating backwardand towards the dock. I was thinking that I flooded it so I held the pedal part way down and cranked some more. Now I am sideways with the pump pointing towards the dock, there is only one other boat at the ramp and he is on the other side of the dock loading a cooler into his wakeboard boat. When the engine fired it went right to 4000 rpm and the guy and all of his friends got a shower. After a few dirty looks a couple snide remarks I appoligised to the guy and assured him that it was not intentional. I was so embarassed they were all checking out my boat when they got the shower. lol

Now I make sure that the diverter is all the way downbefore I fire it off.

Last memorial I had a pwc just come floating down outta nowhere and smack into my boat. Turns out the people about 300 yards up river from me didnt notice their ski get washed off the shore and float away. I held it for them but after tracking the owner down and returning the ski I noticed said person was quite intoxicated. I shoulda pulled the plug and let it keep going but again, I couldnt get myself too...

Don't be too hard on yourself. You know he has done something in the past to deserve that and more. Try to put it out of your mind and move on....

PS It is stories like these that make me wish I had a diverter.....And the chance to use it....

That reminds me of time last year when this guy in another jet boat thought he could out run me down at the local river, I was gaining on him I honked the horn as I was just about to overtake/pass him and he freaking threw up his divertor and douched my whole family... I was so pissed and was about to douch him but as I was passing him I noticed a baby in his wives lap and couldnt do it......the sheriff boat was right behind us which I didnt no at the time and saw it and asked if we were okay etc and they went and gave him a few tickets.

He was in a seadoo boat, getting wet is not an option!. He just learned that parking behind a jet boat is no bueno.

I had one a while back that would run at my boat and try to jump our wake 3 to 4 ft behind the boat. He was getting so close and dangerous that I stopped and told him to quit, that it was too dangerous. He flipped me off and tried to spray me. So I started on down the lake, and here he came again. I was cruising about 35 mph and I got the diverter ready. Just as he passed the end of the boat I raised the diverter and gave him all 1200 HP. Timing was everything. He looked like an Oak leaf blowing in the wind about 4 feet above his pwc.
Scared me at first, but he survived. Never ever had any trouble with him coming too close again.

You were just paying him back in advance for all the times he will play chicken with you, and others, on the lake.

It'll all even out in the end, believe me...
