Those are aluminum boats and the thinner the aluminum, the lighter the boat; Seems like they could gusset the dash so it doesn't flex like that. Great vid, though.

The guy at 2:30 grabs his roll bar. Don't ever grab the roll bar. Every year here in Moab we have some one lose several fingers or a hand (occasionally a foot). Here they lose them from Jeeping but it is the same principal. Two years ago we had a guy lose almost all of his fingers.

The river stuff I love to watch! Those boats just sound evil.
    I know that's US stuff.

All the short track vids I have seen were all Australian drivers and Aussie announcers. If they do that stuff in the US, I just haven't seen it yet. Would love to go to an event like that.

Those jet boats are badass, multi stage Scott or Hamilton Jet units with some serious alchohol burning powered units.

I am busy with a 3 stage Hamilton Unit with a, believe it or not 455 Olds twin Turbo.

    Some pics attached.

I have 6 Hamilton units and plenty of spares, the Olds is another matter

I have a nice SBF and original 308 Holden (Aussie Chebby) for standby in case the experimental Olds doesn't hold up. I run 3 other 751, 752 and 772 Hamilton units, they are great fun and extremely reliable.

Hamilton Jet is where it all started.
