Default Need help! moral's vs anger. what do I do?

So I pulled the boat out today to continue with my sorta restoration project. I bought a 76 19 ft Tahiti and am trying to make it into a good family boat. I have colorsanded it, did some figberglass repair and replaced the carpeting. My 4yo climbs into the boat to play around as normal (shifting the bucket, steering the boat etc) then says "daddy its stinky in here!" so I hop in and sure enough....IT REAKS!! I follow the smell to under the deck and found that a neighborhood cat is using my boat for its litter box!!! So ofcourse I HIT THE F%#ING CEILING!!! I got my kid out, grabbed my facemask rubber gloves and proceeded to clean the mess. At this point I want to replace the carpet again! Just the thought of what was under there makes me cringe! So while im cleaning the boat i started going over ways to prevent this from happening again! My boat is currently being stored on my side yard with a boat cover bungee'd down as well as a grey tarp over that also bungeed down. So my problem is....WHAT DO I DO?! one part of my wants to buy a ton more bungees and try to secure the cover and the tarp even more. I have about 10 total bungees currently on it. The other part of me wants to put some meow mix and rat poison in a little bowl under the F*$KING DECK!! (seriously) SO what do i do here? Putting the boat in my garage is not an option and storing it somewhere would make it a real pain to work on it daily.I really dont want to kill someones cat! sheesh!
What would you do in my shoes here?

I would try the mothballs trick, like you said you don't want to be known as the neighborhood cat killer. Give the neighbor a heads up and go from there. Cool heads always prevail

Petco or some similar store will have a spray you can put in there to keep it away. Ceyane Red Pepper usually works too.Duane HTP

Our animal control office will loan u a trap. Trap it and get rid of it. Take it to them or relocate it to the desert.

A can of tuna, squeeze out the juice, use the meat and put the juice in the trap in the can.. In the morning the cat will b in the trap.

If the neighbor lets the cat roam the neighborhood then oh well.

maybe I should run a positive lead from that battery and lay it across the floor of the bow. First time that cat pisses on that.....ZAP!!

Bingo! We have a winner! What's in your yard is yours to deal with. I understand they make great coyote treats when properly relocated.

I'd try the moth balls first. If that doesn't work then trap it.

This is probably the best answer and go with the trap at the same time. You can give the cat back to the neighbors rather than Animal Control. That will make them take it a little more seriously.

I would be most tempted with this answer. The only good cat is in Chow Mein.

Is the cayenne pepper for the chow mein?
