For some reason, this particular boat loves 13 degrees of wedge. I've never had one react to it like this one before. Weird. I really believe the 5 degree Aggressor low profile intake was a mistake in this boat. If I had to do it over, I'd go with a shoed Dominator intake. WE live, and we learn! Duane HTP

First thought I had to. Nice headers, just not for me.

    Duane,
What effect if any does the upswept headers have on getting the water out of the exhaust efficiently or reversion? It would appear that if exhaust pressure was low or just barely minimal to push out water in the normal header this may cause an additional problem.
    Thanks

I've not had any reversion problems, but I have the headers orfficed down to
.090" metering per side. So, I'm not putting much water through them at all. And they do go dry under 1800 rpm like they're supposed to. Most engine water goes overboard. I'm running the quiet Basset Mufflers, so I figured vacu-pans would be a bad thing here.
