    Default $85 For a Bassett T-valve......Crazy

I am converting my boat from logs to bassett headers and was pricing the pluming parts to complete the setup. I was amazed to find the TVALVE $85 for such a small part, basically a T with a ball and spring check valve...Has any one attemted to duplicate it useing hardware store parts? I have been searching Mcmaster car site but dont see what im looking for...

Definitely Pricey. I have a knockoff T-valve on my boat. Ive never seen one like it before. Its definitely not a Bassett.

Is it the aluminum black one . That's the one I use and it works fine.

You can eliminate it with a solenoid and msd window switch. Not cheaper, but cooler.
