    Default Camara mounts

Ok, so I just picked up a new camcorder and I wanna shoot some in-boat video to show how slow I am.....you guys who have shot some in-boat-video...where you mount the camera? I can whip one up out of a piece of stock with a 1/4-20 bolt, but not sure whether to mount it to the motor (easiest) or my fuel cell (a bit more of a pain in the ass). I was concerned with vibrations dicking up the video.

    Heres an idea,

Get your wife girlfriend or a friend (preferable a girl) to ride shotgun. Mount the camera on the deck and point it at the passenger. I can almost guarantee we can tell how hard or how big the wakes you just went over were!

    Report back the video.

Hehe...that's funny. I'll be at the river this weekend with a dude passenger, and I don't think you want to see man tits flopping in the wind.

I mount my GoPro at the highest spot on the deck either facing forward, backward, or off the side.
The funniest ones are facing backward, especially when you take newbees out for a 1st ride. You can watch em scream and stuff.
There's a few examples on this channel:
