    Default Anything else like an Eliminator Mojave?

    I want another jet boat. I'll probably never sell my little Sleek with the Pontiac (Mostly cause it's not worth anything) but I want a bigger boat to carry friends with me. I really like the looks of the 22' Eliminator Mojave. I'd prefer the cheap boat that needs a motor and a little TLC over the 10K-15K lake ready boat.

    What I want:
    * 20' - 22'
    * BBC
    * Berkeley style split bowl pump
    * Cuddy Cabin
    * Room for 5-6 adults comfortably with storage for gear and coolers.
    * 50 - 60 MPH
    * The closer to TX the better.
    * I'd prefer something that needs some mechanical work. I don't want anything with major structural work needed.

    The Mojave seems to be a little elusive especially with a jet and closed bow. What else is out there with a similar configuration?

    What does the cabin look like in that boat? I think the one in the Mojave is a little bigger.

    Yeah, not much of a cabin at all. Just a "V" berth.

    That's a super nice ride. The wife really likes the cabin on the Eliminators. Thanks for the pics of the berth.

    Any other suggestions?

    I came across one posted on Craigslist here in Boise last night. It is a 1985 I/O and he wants a ton of money for it but you may want to look at it. I think it was posted on July 6th.

    The red Mojave is my old boat. I built it through and through. It was a great boat. Twowheeledfish bought it from my and I hear good things since.

    My father has a twin in slightly different colors red fades to white with orange and yellow. He is the original owner. He would part with it as he is building a new boat.

    It has a 502/502 ZZ crate motor, Berkeley JG pump with A impeller. SS bimini top gold anodized trim everywhere. Everything is all original always garaged. It is located in southwest Colorado in Pagosa Springs. It does need a new steering cable, forward reverse cable and a place diverter cable. It has more goodies than I can list.

    PM me and I can get more details for you.

    Found it. Cool setup but I have no need for a $15K custom trailer.

    Gotta be a jet for me. Otherwise I'll just get a Crownline or something easier to find.

    Thanks for all the help so far. Keep the suggestions coming.

    Default Mojave

    I might be interested in selling mine? Maybe we should explore that option. Better yet - I should find out if it will put me in divorce court!

    Would divorce court be a good thing or a bad thing???

    Boise is a long way from TX. The price would have to be really good for me to go that far. Wonder what it would cost to have it transported?

    Widowmakers dad's boat sounds uber nice and much closer to me than you but it's out of my budget. I'm waiting on some pics of a Wreidt down by Houston that needs a lot of work. The wife really likes the Mojave better from looking at the pics. I keep hoping the guy that bought HEMETDRAGRACER's boat will decide it's too much of a project and put it back up for sale.

    I'm patient. Something will shake out eventually.

    What kind of price range are you looking at and does it need to be turn key? That would help everyone who may see something for sale.

    The wife said I could sell the boat if I replaced it with something she likes . I would probably be interested in selling without the motor if I sell it as I have a lot of money in the engine.
