was told from a guy at the lake that 1 intake is kinda flat and one is scooped?. I guess the question is what brand to get? Thinking we gotta get the ass of this thing out of the water. with the diverter up from about the front seats back is still in the water. I guess my post or wordings was dumb but a Vdrive guy here trying to get a jet to run as best it can for what it is. mtr 700hp trq 680. I have had a 1200hp jet but i bought the hull already done (Hbjets liberty) motor was a tad bit much for that. lesson learned, but the challenger hull was a project, hull lightened by 300# fresh pump, fresh motor. Figured this was the place to ask what to do and get or, what to get and do first..

duane, I am Going to take some picts next time out. You built my dominator pump, with your inducer and your hihelix impellar with your snoot, That is the pump that should be in this boat.

You have a stock grate that hangs down a lot?
If it were me I'd call MPD (or Duane) and have a custom loader made, as well as ask him if he thinks your boat will benefit from a droop. My guess is that it will, though I'm no expert, merely an enthusiast.
81 with no shoe/rideplate, droop, or loader seems pretty respectable to me.
I wonder if you could free up the ass end simply by adding a couple degrees of down wedge? Perhaps the more experienced members will chime in shortly.
