    Default Comp Jets Guys...

What are you guys running for power plants, looks like there's a 515 CID rule.

    What about fuel?

How much HP to be competitive with the rest of the class?

Around how fast you runnin in the straight aways say at a track like Long Beach?

The 511 boat has a 427 that we might be able to squeeze 85mph out of in LB. It runs on 110 race fuel.

I know of 454,468,489,496 and 509 running in the class. The fast guys are running the 509 and should be in the mid to high 90s for LB.

Comp Jet is a awesome class and all the guys that are racing seem to get along great. If you have any questions stop by any of the boats in LB and just ask. We are more than happy to answer question or get the answer for you.

Ill be crewing for the 511 boat. My boat wont be done till thanksgiving in parker.

    hope that helps

To be honest I dont know. I dont think you can run alcohol, methanol etc. Almost all the boats running are running VP/F&L 110
