    Default hand hole cover?

    buddies broke on the weekend.any idea's why? any shops out there that would have a used one (berk jc ) thanks

    Could be that you flux capacitor wasn't balanced right. Happens all the time.

    i have a meirsch hand hole cover on mine. i like it. pretty stout units that fill the hole in the intake a little better. duane sells them i think, but i got mine direct

    3/8" plate on top of the OG HH cover is pretty damn close to fool proof fix!

    Likely was he was "flyin" the boat jet takes a gulp of air and when it recharges it can shockload the cover (sometimes will even break suctions sometimes this is actually worse on "E" pumps , surprized he didn't sink it) Tom

    BTW tell him to check (maybe upgrade) to hold down bolts too they tend to streatch and can break as well

    That is what happend to my Southwind. She went down.

    I made a 3/8 steel plate to go over it.

    a blown HH cover on a non set back will sink like a "hot rock" Been there done that !
    also folks check your Berk retainer bolts regularly , upgrade whe you can too !
