    Default Over Transom guys

as much as I really enjoyed when my wife broke the ski rope last year and all the ensuing jokes about how much fat she was (not much more than 100 pounds soaking wet) and drags like a 300 pound guy...

my rope is hitting the pipes on cuts.

how do you guys keep your ropes from getting cut?

Snake the rope thru a 3 foot length of 1/2 inch heater hose at the tow end ! Tom

(Ps tell the wife to lean forward when your pulling her or get a bigger ski)

Get a piece 3 or 4 foot long piece of heater hose and put it over the end of the rope by the ski-tow. The hose will protect the rope. put a knot in the rope or something to hold the hose in place.
