Default Headers or Thru Transome Exhaust

I was thinking about losing the headers and puting a thru transome exhaust system on my boat and building a partial engine cover so the family can get in and out easier, and without those header burns...
I have a BBC, what do I need to make this happen?

look for some lightning headers. they are jacketed. there is water running between the outer tube and inner exht tube. You can touch em while running. They look good powder coated if you dont do a hatch and safe under a hatch.

    They sound great too

Lightning headers are awesome. I saw a set on ebay the other day for $800 - good price.

Here is a pic of my boat with lighting headers and 5" tips. I like the over the transom headers better but it is one less thing the cops have on me. You still get the loud noise when on plane. The pic's are just so you can get an idea if you would like it or not. Hope it works for you.

LIGHTNING HEADERS AND A MATCHING REMOVEABLE MOTOR COVER WITH JUST THE SCOOP STICKING THRU WOULD LOOK AWSOME

Logs are fine until you start getting into more horsepower. I gained 300 rpm's by just adding lightning headers.
