Default center steer throttle set ups

Can any one give me some ideas, or pics on how to fab the throttle pedals on a center steer boat. The kind with one bar where the left pedal is stationary and the right is the throttle. Like the one's on the 028, 000 machines? Thanks

I built and polished my own. My Daytona's center keel is narrow and with pedals shown in the post above, it puts my feet too close together and a too high. I have since removed the gate lever from the boat edge and have it on the left pedal. Both work great. Now I only need to remove my hand from the rope to start the boat, not to leave.

    Default Tom Papp

Tom Papp made a nice simple pedal setup !! Does anyone have pics of Tom's ?
They were just round aluminum with a knurled finish.

Here's the pics. Ones a gas pedal and the other is the reverse gate (spring loaded open). I used some grip tape to keep from slipping off. The camera shows water spots that I didn't see, so sorry for the dirty pics. I got some polishing to do before Chouteau....

They were made on a bridgeport mill at work.
