    Default How does this look ..where to drill for cradle?

    Umm.. does this look like a good spot? Last time I drilled and tapped into my bowl(new at the time) it scared me.lol How deep is too deep? Does this look ok? My dewalt is getting itchy

    That's where mine is drilled...offers more support for the ride-plate.

    Why drill it, that tie down strap is holdin it jus fine

    3\4 inch deep. Just did mine worked for me

    I dirilled all the way thru, and tapped all the way thru. I used ARP stainless 12 pt. bolts, so there is no chance of failure.

    Thanks for the advise guys...before I drill the bottom cradle holes I'd like to have this thing as close to possible to 2-3*... Whatta you think...I thought I was pretty close until I did the straight edge deal....now it looks more like 5*. Btw I would like to give props to Bigdog for the rideplate and cradle....He did a great job and got them out to me FAST

    I would be close to the degrees you want WITH some shims > reason > this way you'll have room to remove shims and go up if needed.

    There is a shim or 2 in there....right now...it appears I taper 1" in 2 feet. In that pic it was more like 3/4".
