    Default 100 year old impeller question..

    It makes me feel better when all agree on my needs!!!!!!!
    460 turned 516HP @ 5,000 RPM --
    Put 6,500 chip in MSD box .
    pickel fork (light & runs on top )
    bought split bowl getting rebuilt, bought droop.
    Kick ass info needed on impeller & What the big deal on my grate where water comes in? Never built jet boat before , But have 3 I run ever weekend (Live on the Water)

    AB seems to work well with that much power, at least in shallow v's.

    Know that boat real well. Had a 1978. Put a B impeller in it and a long droop and hang on to your ass! I had a 480 ci Ford in mine and spun the B at 5800 and ran 89 mph. Ran a 150 shot of NOS on the lake and it ran between 62-6300. Didnt have GPS back then so I didn't know how fast it was but the 89mph was done at a race in Chowchilla so I know that speed was right.

    Default There' not a set pattern?

    At my RPM's & HP. I want a good runner.
    I read from ya'll about the intake under the boat & not wanting to run out of water ..
    I want to show the others here the name on the back (Skinner back)
    All help I need and want..
