has anyone ever seen or heard of a 19 ft daytona jet style hull with a bravo one outdrive on it? If so how did it work ?

    Default yes

I have seen a few. hard to rig because the transom isn't tall enough. they run pretty fast with low power but I wouldn't try puttin a lot of power in one. also they don't take off as good as a jet.

why not put some power to it? would it catch the jet setup in quarter mile drag?

that blue Elim used to belong to my good Buddy Mark Peeler
with a bone stock ZZ350 crate motor and a 150 shot of squeeze it ran 90mph on Stalker radar
His Brother Kevin had a 19' I/O custom built by Elim Boats with a tall transom to accomadate the Alpha drive,he had a custom stroker SBC that made close to 600hp and that biotch got to 100 in a heartbeat
He sold it to the late Jory Moos who did a ten year makeover on it rigging a Bravo drive on it
would sure love to see it on the water someday

Advantage did a couple of there 21 banshee hulls with outdrives and I believe they set some speed records with it.

thinking of an I/O for my banshee, jet would be cool but hear they take lots of power for so so speeds told they are pigs with a jet, probally because of the stepped hull
