Default One of you guys forget something?

Ummmm .... did someone forget something?

    Jen McCoy/Daily Register

Officer David Clark of the Portage Police Department watches Thursday night as water drains from a speed boat that was abandoned at the Interstate 39 northbound off-ramp near exit 92. “A passer-by called (at about 7:30 p.m.) and said there was a boat in the middle of the road with no one around,” Clark said. “We could see the safety chain was broken. Somehow it wasn’t secured properly.” Even though the owner was nowhere to be seen, they will be issued a ticket for abandoning it. The boat is registered with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Clark said, so it should be easy to find the owner.

I would of left it on the side of the road as well. Better than hittin the brakes, pullin to the side, waiting for traffic to pass, making an illegal u-turn...I mean really....who has time to do all that for a jet boat...???

Great looking boat. Maybe it was stolen and the thief lost it on the road. I just can't see the actual owner leaving that boat abandoned. It looks like it was pretty well cared for.

Or the guy had a little to much to drink and couldn't stick around waiting for the heat to show up.
