I'm trying to get my TX dialed and have been searching past threads for advice. The term 'pin angle' keeps coming up and I wanna be sure I understand correctly. Is this the measuring of the diverter pivot pin in relation to reverse bucket pin to determine nozzle angle or???

pin angle in relation to the bowl

That why all the snoots and droops act different. HTP's snoot you can order with a 0 or 4 degree pin angle.

describing this doesn't seem to be working. i'll try this, with one caveat - the measurement pictured is a close guestimate, and not to be considered 100% accurate. needed an extra hand for the pic, but no one's home, and the dog doesn't take great pics.

the droop flange is flat on the floor, which has an 0.2 angle (basically flat).

the steering pin line shows 7.3 degrees (which i couldn't hold tight).

using this as an example, the "pin angle" would be 7.5 degrees. if i really wanted a totally accurate number for this thing, it would probably be more like 7.0.

hopefully, this answers the question, what is meant by pin angle....

I now totally understand what is meant by pin angle. What I didn't understand was if the bowl is @ 4* down and the pins were @ 5* up how would the pin angle be 9*. I know that 5
+4 = 9, but I was thinking that 4* down (negative) + 5* up (positive) yielded a net of 1* up. Guess it doesn't work that way, and instead pin angle is the sum of the two angles irrespective of up/down.
Thank you for your patience;)
