    Default Oh noooooo

I just got my first jet boat, and I love it. Well, I took it out today....and the harmonic balancer got a little crazy and I couldn't start it up....major bummer. So I put it back on the trailer and brought her back home. The place that built the motor says he is going to fix it for free....so that makes me sooooo HAPPY! But I am new to the forum, and I am just saying hello! And a question for you all....Where can I get a power steering type setup for my boat??

x2...a little WD-40 down the cable should help out...you might also check the steering tube behind the wheel under the dash...it might need some grease! ...just my .02 cents

    Default Balancer issue??

I'm curious how a balancer issue would prevent the engine from starting? Do you mean you saw a problem, and chose not to start it?......... Please explain what the balancer issue was.......Ray

The Gym welcome to the forums - Jet boat - turn and gas ! you should not need power steering , should be easier than power steering already ! check cables for binding , should have LOOPS and no sharp angles all the way back to the jet , , No seats sitti ng on top of it , with out relief cuts to the seat frames .

Welcome to the boards. Just remember what boat stands for and you will be just fine.

As far as your steering goes WD-40 will work but if you use something with lubricant like Lucas Oil product or Zep works really good. WD-40 is just a cleaner and most people forget that. Anyways lets see some pics of your boat.
