I also want to know about this. I need a new cover and was wondering do covers keep water out or just sun and debris? The only one I have had repelled water only if it was moving. If it puddled it would soak through. This is a problem here where snow causes puddling letting water leak into the boat then freezing night temperatures can cause ice damage.

Pep boys hes them for about 60 bucks. I've had them on both my boats and they last about 2 years. They have 4 different sizes i think. I put the 21 ft. cover on my 18 ft. boat so i can cover the pump too. 2 years may not sound like alot but it sat in the direct afternoon sun and and 2 rainy winters out in blythe.
