Default to droop, or not to droop, that is the question

I have a droop sitting on my bench...it was a gift when my uncle went to a dominator pump on his boat.

    Here is the boat:

should I put it on, or not?

What else will I need to replace?

If you got it try it. Hard to really see in the vid but at the end there it looked like the boat was actually air'd out pretty good for as many people as you had in it. What are you running now?

If you already have a split bowl it is just a bolt on and your steering and cables should have enough slack in them to try it .. Try it out and if you don't like the way your boat does take it back off .. Your boat did look like it was ridein pretty nice already though..

2 passengers plus a cooler of beer, it was riding really well, so I am a bit nervous to screw with it.

I just had the bucket cable replaced and they let like 2 feet of extra cable in it, so I was thinking now might be the time

I put one on and lost 2mph top end and my acceleration was noticably less as it didn't thrust as hard, cause the droop doesn't restrict the water out of the bowl as much which creates more thrust (like putting you thumb over a hose), also didnt have a ride plate to let the droop work properly......but I would still throw it on, easy to install and switch back if you dont like it

I didn't on mine.. If your pump is in a stock location(not set back) than you should be ok .. The main thing is if you are happy with your boat than leave it alone, but if you won't to try to get alittle more out of it than try it .. The only thing you might have to bye is $10 bucks worth of SS bolts ..
