    Default How fast is everyone

    actual gps readings
    what type of boat and hull
    est horsepower
    what pump
    what mods


    mine is at the bottom with a 58 on gps @ 5100
    pump and boat is all stock from 1977
    engine 396/+30 peanut heads hole hogged out with 2.30 intakes
    cam is 570/575 lift 244/254 duration
    pistons have some dome not much (just looks like a flat diamond)

    There was a similar thread with alot of this info.

    GPS (so far): 96.7 MPH

    Anthony 18ft Jetboat
    672HP
    Berk Pump, Stainless AT A impeller, Tappered Shoe, Loader, Droop, PD

    There's still more left in it, I'm about 500 rpm away from my peak HP, going to cut the impeller back once i get the boat setup right.

    76 tarva - 461 ci - dyno 575 hp a/ b with diverter 73-75 , Changing out the grate I hope to pull in some more mph as 5200 i was cavatating like a viberating bed at a cheap motel -- motor cammed for 6500 and it wants to keep pulling after 5200

    Slow lol

    20 ft cruiser with a stock 454 and a split bowl berkeley runs a GPS 55 at 4200 rpm.

    1979 Bahner Bubble deck 454 BBC .030 over, 9.5-1 compression, Elgin Cam 547 lift, victor intake, 850 Dp, ot Bassett's, aluminum A impeller. [email protected] 74mph @4900rpm 2 people in the boat on the delta with a little rough water (would prefer glass) Engine is now on stand will update with new numbers soon I hope
