What are you running it on? If you have a split bowl JG you can add wedges.

yeah just grind the top edge a little. I went about a 1/4 inch with no problems. You just dont want to grind so much that the inner seal blows out. Measure 1/4 inch from the top and then taper it to 0 on the sides.
I personally think the guys a place kinda messed up when they casted the diverter. They have way more down adjustment then needed.

yes, if you have a flange at the back of the bowl its a "G" style bowl which means you can bolt a wedge on it, you could also buy a "rooster booster" let me see if I can dig a pic up for ya. there are also pics on this site of where to cut or grind the diverter.

a wedge will get the same results I think, its just a different way of going about it, I would also bet that www.jetboatperformance.com would also sell them, I just have never seen them on there site.

You can wedge or grind or both. I ground mine and you would be hard pressed to tell where I did it. Its one of the best free and easy mods I have done. There is no structural problems by doing it either. Personally I would grind and then add some wedge later if its not high enough for you. I pretty much doubled my roost just by grinding and I could probably do a little further.
