So the boat is running well and it should be ready for the full summer swing... Except I don't have any tunes!
I would like to put a stereo in the boat, but I would hate to cut into the dash to do it. I have some ideas of a head unit under the dash, but I would like to hear or see some other ideas.
Use your ipod with a docking station. Bose makes a nice one that runs on batteries. You won't be bumping like the wakeboard boats but there cool, and don't take up much room.
or you can do just the ipod with amps and speakers. no head unit = no holes as for me, no desire for tunes in my boat. when i stop the ears are usually ringin so the quiet time is nice
just installed the SSV WORKS ipod/mp3 head unit eliminator kit in my new boat. the thing is awesome. no cutting or drilling. ipod > volume control>to amps. thats it. clean and easy. 10's hit hard and mids sound good too. all for $80.00. you cant beat it!
Do you have a link to that unit. Can't seem to find it on a search.
Thanks
