    Question HELP---Turboed GM 572

    All NEW

    Does any one have a clue on putting a TURBO on a 572 I'm looking for any answers I dont even know if it can be done or if it would even work ??????

    It wouldn't be A turbo, it would be SOME turbos. A single turbo to feed a 572 would be off of a John-Deere or similar and would take a month of Sundays to spool up.

    This can be done with a big single. Its been done many times and there is a large debate over which way is best.
    Twins on a jet boat just turns out better as you dont need to have all the plumbing to connect the two sides of the engines exhaust together.
    But 572 inches breathing through the proper sized BIG turbo wouldnt be any more lazy to spool than twins.
    Also two turbochargers like I have are way less expensive than one single large enough to feed a 572" monster.

    LIBERATOR681, Hass828 and Unchained have done some tuboizing of their boats. Maybey search for some of their threads. Good info from them on Turbo charging. You can also check out the Forced Induction forum here.

    For sure, that's the place to post this. He'll get lots of feed back. Should be an interesting thread.

    Depending on his power needs I'd think a Pro-charger or something to stay away from the heat, but a properly size single would be cool, as Haas stated abit pricey though.

    Can't imagine I could add them to my existing 468 but I sure like Turbos
