    Default NOS ? regaurding impellor

What kind of RPM would a 200 (fogger)shot bring? That would put my HP at 1000 or so. Think Im going to go bigger on the impellor and tune for the spray. Im turning an AB (more to the A side) To 6200 rpm. Im thinking about 5-600 rpm more on the juice. Is that about right?

Cam Quits at 6200 and falls quick....Start with a detailed A or go AA?

Its possible to pick up 5-600 rpm I had a 180 shot on mine and only pick up 400 though. had a 496 with a B/C cut turning 6700 on motor and 7100 on the spray.

Is'nt a new cam profile more economical at this point? Lots of guys running race prepped B impellers.

lol, New cam, lifters, valve springs, pushrods, gaskets. More than a grand right there......

I was thinking new cam this year, but if i do that im opening up a can of worms I don't feel I can afford right now. I would do the whole engine over if Im opening it up. The nitrous would make its own power Over the 6200 peak, but not much. My thinking is lower the rpm just a touch but going bigger and adding more power to compensate for the loss and the added at the same time. I know its ass backwards thinking, but it will work for what im after i think.

next year E85 and big compresion, but it might be in a flat.....

Cuz the engine gives up at 6200 period!! If i keep the same IMP, it will spin about 6600-6800 on the sauce. I think im killing some go if i leave it the same.
Thats why im thinking of going bigger to lower it a couple hundred rpm, then with the added hp it will absorbe the rpm with better results.

I'm not running a fogger (dual plate) but mine picks up 600 rpm with a 200 shot.

What you probably really need is a huge ass'd puke tank Tim.

Where exactly does it make peak power? Is the engine real flat before peak power? Are you planning on always being on the bottle? Hard to impeller a boat if your trying to do both, you cant get the most out of both if your trying to make both make work well.

6200 And it is real flat. I would spray it every trip out, but most of the time just on the motor.

If its real flat run it on the bottle at 6200 if you can. Do a test a see what it does to your on motor performance, if it still runs good at 5800 on motor your good to go both on motor and bottle. If it kills the motor at 5800 you may need to run it on the bottle a little past peak hp but Id try to avoid that.

Your peak HP number will still be 6200 on nitrous. Like I said its hard to set it up for both, problem is peak HP numbers are the some on and off bottle.
