    Default My Daytona

Yes I know it's filthy, but I'm finally finishing it up. I have some carb issues to work out, but it's running! If anyone knows any history on the boat I would appreciate it. Thanks Andrew for everything. Chris for the deal on the motor and JBP Tom for listening to my rants. Hope to see you at the races!

Thanks. It was painted in `82 or `84 if I remember right? It still looks good and has ben touched up through the years. The candies really pop and pics don't do it justice. The rails and other hardware that is faded will be re-powdercoated eventually. Test and tune 1st.

I have no idea how it's going to run. It had a blown intercooled 565 in it before. I'm guessing the impeller will be a little tall for it? It's a pretty high strung 468 with Gross heads.

There are 3 different style jet boats that preform above the rest, and u have 1 of the 3.
    Good job and good find.

Right?! Gone now and replaced with a white wire. It was leftover from the launch control switch. I hadn't cut the last zip ties to get rid of it yet. Wanted to make sure everything was right before I tucked the harness away. Everything is nice neat and wired right now. Reminded me of my VW days...
