Default Ok i finally need some help!

Ok so i am re-annodizing all the anno on my CP and the only thing i cannot remove is the steering wheel hub, its splined and keywayed i removed the big nut but my standard car steering wheel puller wont work as the threads for the adapters on a car are bigger, where do i get a puller for this?? I have literally stripped the entire boat and this is all i cannot get off. i tried to post pic and it says upload failed. Anyways any help would be appreciated.

Either pick up some different bolts for the one you have now, or you can find the kits at most auto parts stores like checker or autozone. This one is harbor freight for like twenty bucks.

I had trouble with mine too. I ended drilling and tapping new holes in the steering hub because the old ones were so small the puller bolts were stripping.

Anothed way is to use a helping hand a drift and hammer! Place nut on threads down till the stud is barely exposed so not to damage threads with the drift. Have the helper hold the drift to the stud and you get your knees under the wheel and apply outward pressure to the wheel! Strike the drift with a good blow or two till the hub releces! Not the best way but it has worked for me when pullers have failed! WT

SOMEONE SAID YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU! SO,IM BURNING IT UP ONE GALLON AT A TIME!

Wow guys i really appreciate all the help you guys kick ass!! I was really thinking the drift hammer myself but i was just thinking there might be something one of you guys created. Yes its the 9 bolt hub with the tiny threads so i cant figure out what to grab onto. At this point i think its time for one of you locals to come over and we will grab a few beers at my place and get this thing off so i can send all this stuff out in one big lot so i only pay one lot charge. Seriously guys i appreciate the help!!
