why change them out, the dominator is a good pump and has a stronger suction housing. the long droop will work on the daytona, it however may not give you the best performance depending on your horsepower range. i have found that, to me, depending on the set up and the bottom work that the best speeds we obtained with the daytona type hulls was with a short droop or standard nozzle housing properly wedged for the set up. just my.02

When you say long droop are you talking about a standard droop or is it the extra long droop that was availiable back in the 70's. What year is the Dominator pump you are planning on using?

Alot depends on the intake that your running, if its a low profile I would stay away from a full droop.

Why not just run the droop youve been running and bolt it up to the new pump?

Is the boat your talking about the one in your sig line?

Bling doesn't add ANY mph. It actually slows you down...

when you factor in the time you spend polishing it.
