Default THE SNOOT, KEEP DROOP or PLACE DIVERTER HP SNOOT

I'm putting a Place Diverter on my TX-19. Do I keep my droop snoot, buy a Hi-Tech "THE SNOOT" or buy the Place Diverter HP snoot? I'll take opinions and testimonials throw it at me if I'm not already confussed enough.

    Thanks

im pretty fond of the HTP Snoot with the 4 degree pin angle and some wedges with the Tx-19s.

you will get a ton of opinions best to try every set-up you can and see what your boat likes best

All the good running ones I have seen don't have a Droop. Just what I have seen.

i 2nd the motion to post some pictures. would like to see how the changes look that you`ve allready made. didn`t you machine and moved the the intake back and add a ride plate? bet you can`t wait until spring since you bought it so late last year. i`ll allways miss that ole boat and its a good thing that it can`t talk.

You're so right Richard it's going to be a long winter. Scott set the pump back an inch and put in 4 1/2 degrees added 5/8 shoe, ride plate with plates on the transom. I know you don't like inducers but I put one in anyway if it takes any off the top I' take it out. We'll have to get together this summer. If you promise not to cry and want the boat back.

Even if you were to lose 1 mph with the inducer but picked up a tenth in quickness youd be ahead of the game. Quickness wins races at the lake, not top end.

Grady, It would be nice to see that ole pile again. Just pick a date when you and your buddies that were at Malvern last can git 2gether and i`ll try 2 come down. I`d like 4 you to see what i bought with your money. Its a gull wing made by Greg High in Memphis. Has a 468, comp roller, dart aluminum heads and two 1050`s. Gotta figure out what color to have it painted and soon. Right now its the ugliest boat/trailer that i`ve ever seen. Keep in contact. Lets plan a git2gether.

Thanks CS19, I'll get some pictures in the next couple weeks. I sure hope it will just jump out of the water and run I'd like to see 85,86 or 87 maybe. Richard I'll keep you posted and I must have payed you to much but I made my own price and got to quit looking for a boat. We'll rent some cabins down at Moro Bay when the guys from Texas and Hot Springs come down. Paint it Red, silver and blue it makes a pretty boat. I know a guy in Ms. that used to have one.
