the way i see it the weight will be about the same a a typical big block yes i know im probly going to take a 25 mph hit in top speed it would be diffrent the only problem i can forsee is keeping water temp up as diesels need heat to run rite what u think?

X2. One of the worst engines ever built. I would be surprised if you can even find one with the starter boss still intact.

If you want a diesel jet boat why not a 4bt Cummings. They are capable of serious power. Or a duramax if you can afford it cause its probly lighter. You would need like a AAAA impeller to go anywhere lol.

Have heard of wackiest...I had a co-worker try to have me transplant a 350 olds diesel into my OEM 396. Camaro 4 sp. Did it for one season for grins. Was very consistant.Actually tried it.Smoked like ten DIRTY MOTHER ****ERS....within .01 to .02 sec every pass in the 1/8 mi.all season . 69 degrees to 105 degrees in the heat. Varied .03 all year in a 3000 LB car all year long.
